Pneumax Series 228 Mechanical Pneumatic Valve 3/2 & 5/2 - 1/8"

3/2 or 5/2 mechanical spool valve with 1/8" connections. Available in either Pneumatic - Spring or Pneumatic - Pneumatic.

The Pneumatic - Spring mechanical spool valve operates via an air pilot and spring return. This valve operates similar to a solenoid in the fact that the communication signal is remote. Minimum working pilot pressure 2.5 bar.

The Pneumatic - Pneumatic mechanical spool valve operates via an air pilot supply for both directions to drive the valve. This valve operates similar to a solenoid in the fact that the communication signal is remote. Minimum working pilot pressure 2 bar.

The body is manufactured in robust aluminium and seals are all in NBR rubber. Suitable for use with compressed air with or without lubrication.

These valves have an average life of 15 million cycles depending on the application and air quality, filtered and lubricated air using specified lubricants will dramatically reduce the wear of the seals and ensures long and trouble free operation. Please ensure that the valve is being used according with the manufacturers specification, such as air pressure and temperature and that exhaust ports are protected against the possible ingress of dirt or debris.
